Responsible travel is about more authentic holiday experiences that enable us to get a little bit more out of our travels, and give a little bit more back to destinations and local people. All holidays have positive and negative impacts locally. Responsible travel maximises benefits, and minimises negative effects of tourism.
Hue Responsible Travel Group is established by a number of local well-known tour operators (DMZ Tourist Joint Stock Company, Huetourist, Vietnamtourism-Hanoi, Que Huong Travel and Asia Travel Land), training institutions (Hue Tourism College) and local non-governmental organisations (the Centre for Social Research and Development and the Centre for Social Sciences and Humanity). Our Group dedicates to develop responsible travel that takes into consideration natural, socio-cultural, economic and political contexts of destinations to increase people’s benefits and minimize negative impacts.
