“Cook with Ms Ngoc” Reviewed November 26, 2011 The lovely Ms Ngoc took us to the markets which was great as we could ask her the questions we had about the produce etc (but we didn't look for dog). Then back to the restaurant which was very well organised with all the ingredients prepared in advance for our class. We made fried and fresh spring rolls and a delicious caramalised tuna dish which we do at home now. Also the banh. Then we got to eat it all which we couldn't because we'd just had a massive breakfast - so plan it to be your lunch. You can buy the apron for 20k dong in the markets too. The notes we got were amusing but we took our own as Ms Ngoc had her own recipe. Well worth doing the class. She was well impressed with a man cooking as they don't in Vietnam. Ever.PS There is also a great cook book at Morning Glory in Hoi An for $40 which we are using at home a lot. Visited October 2011

“Cooking with Cuc in Hue” Reviewed April 29, 2013 We had a great time cooking with Mr Cuc. First of all, he took us to the market to buy the ingredients for the dishes, which was a fun experience by itself. Then, he taught us to make traditional Hue beef noodle soup, fresh and fried spring rolls, a delicious peanut sauce and shrimp pancake. He also customized some dishes as I do not eat seafood and beef. Overall, I enjoyed the 3 hour cooking class. Thank you Cuc ! 23 January 2010 Boat Trip on the Perfume River ( Hue City - Viet Nam) with Asia Travel Land Co., Ltd. Mr Phuong was our guider on a pefume river cruise. He was informative and helpful, responding to the interests of our family, including young people aged 18, 14 and 11. Welcome to the city of Hue, let us guide you through the bustling streets, natural landscape and unique architecture including the perfume river, tombs, pagodas and many temples, all of which have become major tourist attractions for visitors from all over the world. You will rediscover the ancient world of the emperors of 13 kings of Nguyen dynasty, from Gia Long to Bao Dai. Is the first Unesco world heritage site in Explorer the village where women make the traditional hats and learn from our expert guides about the lives of these people


 HALF DAY AND FULL DAY TRIP

08:00 AM - 08h30 AM: Our tour guide come to meet you at your hotel for pick-up. Then depart to visit Hat and incenses stcik making village. Here, you have chance to learn how to make a hat and an incenses, exploreing the traditional job of Hueian, and you can buy some for souvernir...

 Bus arrive Tu Duc Tomb, come in to visit the unique harmonious tomb design which was constructd from 1864 to 1867. The tomb was used for both before and after his death. And then,  Proceed to Minh Mang Tomb. It was said  to be the most majestic of all of the Royal Tombs. Renowned for its architecture, which harmoniously blends into the nature surroundings.

Bus come to Khai Dinh tomb. Unlike Hue’s other tombs, being a synthesis of Vietnamese and European elements. Even the stone faces of the mandarin honour guards are endowed with a mixture of Vietnamese and European features.

12h00: Back to the city to enjoy Vietnamese food 

Continue to visit Hue Citadel. Tour guide will lead you to visit the tallest flag pole of Vietnam (37m-hight), Ngo Mon gate where Bao Dai ended Nguyen dynasty, Thai Hoa palace ( Palace of Supreme Hamony), Hall of the Mandarins, Forbidden Purple city…

Proceed to visit garden house which are a unique feature of Hue. The houses are traditional, privately owned, and set in attractive formal gardens. Some have connections with the old Royal Imperial Court. Hue traditional architecture has long been close associated with the natural environment. The garden houses reflect this association. Each is highly individual - house and garden, people and scenery, plants, clouds and water co-exist and blend with each other in a harmonious context

Bus take you to Thien Mu pagoda which built on a hillock overlooking the. Perfume river, this pagoda is an icon of Vietnam and the symbol of Hue city.

Cruise the beautiful perfume river by dragon boat viewing daily life along the way. Visit some villages and do not miss viewing sunset on the river
