Itinerary in Detail
Day 1: ARRIVE HANOI

Arrive in Hanoi,upon your arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Free toexplore the town.

Our Customer Care Executive will meet you at the hotel at18 00 pm for a trip briefing, answering your questions, as well as giving yousome travelling tips in Vietnam.

We then head out for some local delicacies in one of themany fine restaurants in Hanoi.

Overnight at Hotel. (Dinner)

 

Day 2: HANOI - HALONG

Pick up (by shuttle bus) from your hotel in Hanoi at 08 00 - 0830 fora four-hour drive through the Red River Delta to Ha Long City. Arrive in Halong City:

12h30: Board our Junk, check-in registration

13h00: Have lunch with welcome wine.

14h00: A fantastic cruise in Ha Long bay

15h00. Visit to Thien Cung cave, Dau Go cave, round overTuan Chau island, or Sungsot cave Swim at lovely beaches.

 

18h00: Junk cruise ankor by the lagoon

19h00: Enjoy 4 course diner and overnight on Junk.

Day 3: HALONG - HANOI - OVERNIGHT TRAIN TO HUE

Rising to the sound of ocean coming to life for anotherlovely day. We breakfast over sunrise:

07 h30: Junk boat once again sets sail through breathtakingsecluded Halong bay

08 h00: Enjoy breakfast while cruising 09h 00: Visit Bai tulong Bay , Teapot island , Chopstiks island, Bai tho mountain.

11h 00: Return to Halong city and have lunch on board.

12h 00: Back to Halong wharf and drive back to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi around 17 00 pm.

Later in the evening, we board the Reunification Expressfor our northbound journey to Hanoi.(Breakfast, Lunch)

 

Day 4: ARRIVE HUE - CITY TOUR (CYCLING DISTANCE 35 KM)

Arrive Hue in the morning, weare met and transferred to the hotel.

After breakfast at hotel, we are introduced to our support crew and our bicycles. Each bike is then adjusted and fitted according to individual needs.

After ashort briefing on Vietnamtraffic and some rules of the road, we will warm up our muscles with a shortride to visit Hue Imperial City, Forbidden Purple City. Return to Hue for lunch.

In the afternoon, we cycle to Tu Duc Tomb. Time permitting, we can further the ride to Thien Mu pagoda which is on the other side of Perfume River.(Breakfast, Lunch)

 

Day 5: DAY 5 HUE - HOI AN (CYCLING DISTANCE: 70 KM)

We drive out of the city then start cycling along the Highway No 1 to Lang Cobeach. Have lunch in Lang Co.

Afterlunch, we drive to the top of the Hai Van Pass, admiring the wonderful views aswe ride to Danang, then by bus to of Hoi An.

Arrive Hoi An in mid afternoon.

We enjoy an orientation walking tour through the narrowwinding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Assembly Hall,the 200 year old Tam Ky House, and the Japanese covered bridge. (Breakfast,Lunch)

Hoi An is the perfect place to have some clothestailor-made. There are many tailors, who vary greatly in quality and price.Silks are a good buy here. You may also want to join one of the many cookingclasses available to learn how to prepare authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

 

Day 6: HOI AN

Fullday at leisure in Hoi An. With Hoi An beach a close 5km from town it is aperfect place to spend the day.

Halfday option: You can follow your tour leader for a ridealong the paths and lanes to smaller villages near the town. (Cycling distance:30 km) (Breakfast)

 

Day 7: HOI AN - KONTUM (CYCLING DISTANCE: 85 KM)

Today isa more challenging day as we leave Highway 1 and head inland towards Kon Tum.We will cycle only part of the day, along undulating roads with stunningphotographic opportunities. We will ride past many remote villages, tropicalforests, over bridges and along quiet but scenic roads.

ArriveKontum late in the afternoon. Overnight in Kon Tum. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinnerincluded)

 

Day 8: KONTUM - PLEIKU (CYCLING DISTANCE: 50 KM)

Weleave Kon Tum by bus to get out into the countryside and start another spectacularday of cycling. Today we have gentle rolling hills all day making the cyclingeasy. We have time to observe the simple daily life of local people as we passnumerous small villages and rubber plantations. Arrive Pleiku mid-afternoon. Free for personal exploration. Overnight in Pleiku. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

 

Day 9: PLEIKU - BUON ME THUOT (CYCLING DISTANCE: 80 KM)

Ourride today is on an excellent road. We part cycle along Highway 14, take in 197kms of undulating and scenic highlands. We pass by coffee plantations andnational parks on our way to the largest coffee city in the Central Highlands,and the capital of Dac Lac Province.Overnight Buon Me Thuot. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)

 

Day 10: 0 BUON ME THUOT - DALAT (CYCLING DISTANCE: 80 KM)

Driveout of town. Start our cycling on fine roads with little traffic. The road isnarrow but quite good, the view, with its vast coffee and rubber plantations,will take your breath away.

It abit of workout as we slowly climb up to Dalat, a mountain-top town, longfavoured as a destination of travellers. We leave the warmer temperature behindas we pedal into the cooler climates of Dalat. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinnerincluded)

 

Day 11: DALAT TOUR (CYCLING DISTANCE: 40 KM)

Todaythere is a cycle tour round Dalat visiting:

Dalat Botanical Park: 2 kmfrom the center, a collection of a good number of flowers, orchids and plants.

Dalat Railway Station: 3 kmfrom Dalat BotanicalPark, the oldest and probably thenicest railway station of the Indochina.

Chinese Pagoda: 2 kmfrom the Museum, located on a hilltop, famous for its 3 big wooden statuesoriginated from the museum, located on a hilltop, famous for its 3 big woodenstatues originated from Hong Kong.

It is also possible to visit the Magic table (which canturn itself when people put their hands on and concentrate)

Bao Dai’s SummerPalace: 3 kmfrom Chinese Pagoda, where the last Emperor of Vietnam– Bao Dai stayed and and ruled his Vietnam from 1949 to 1954. A goodplace to learn more of Vietnamhistory.

Crazy House: 1 kmfrom the Palace, an architecture that can not be explained nor described, justcome and see!

We then cycle into the countryside for a bit of local life.(Breakfast)

 

Day 12: DALAT - MUI NE (CYCLING DISTANCE: 80 KM)

Driveout of town. Commence our ride down the coastal route. This offers wonderfulocean views with a climb up some quiet roads through rolling hills and remoteminority villages. Have lunch in a local restaurant. Continue cycling to MuiNe.

ArriveMui Ne mid-afternoon. We say goodbye to our support crew and bicycles.

Free torelax on the white sandy beaches of Muine. Overnight at Mui Ne beach.(Breakfast, Lunch)

 

Day 13: MUI NE

Full day free at leisure in the resort or on the beach. Forthe more active, golf is available nearby. (Breakfast)

 

Day 14: MUI NE - HO CHI MINH

Morningfree at leisure.

13 00pm pick up and drive to Ho Chi Minh (250 km, 4 ½ hours)

Freeupon arrival. Have our farewell dinner together at one of many famousrestaurants in Ho Chi Minh City.(Breakfast, Dinner)

 

Day 15: DEPARTURE

The trip concludes this morning in Ho Chi Minh. A transfer to the airport will bearranged if your flight is leaving today. (Breakfast)
